-Discover a Temezcal, or Maya Sauna at Joya de Cerén.
-Visit an “obraje” where dying with indigo was done in the Maya and colonial times.
-Walk through a Maya Ceremonial Center.
We will visit Joya de ceren, declared a World Heritage Site in 1993 since it is the only place in the Maya World where you can witness the common way of life of a village preserved by layers of ash from the eruption of a nearby volcano. Then, we will continue to San Andres archaeological site where we will explore its pyramids and its museum.
